Hi, I’m Mara and I’m an avid book reader.
I’ve been passionate about reading for years and have been part of the online book community since 2013. I’ve been on a few hiatuses due to time management conflicts regarding personal life and school but I am really invested in my love for reading and this community I have grown to adore so I always end up coming back!
I’m currently majoring in English literature at university which has been a great help to expand my reading tastes and my critiquing capabilities. I feel that I am much more suited to write reviews and discuss certain topics now than when I went on hiatus in 2015. However, I still want to have fun on this blog and keep it lighthearted with a lot of fun topics and tags!
So stick around if you like book reviews, discussions, challenges, books to movie adaptations reviews and other fun book related stuff!

I think it is so cool that you’re an English literature major — I’m currently a junior in high school, and it’s about that time in high school where everyone is thinking about what they want to major in. I absolutely adore the entire process of reading, annotating, and analyzing + writing about books, and I really want to major in English when I get into uni… but it seems like there are so many people who think it’s a “wasteful” major. I was wondering if you had any posts on your post about majoring in English that could help someone in my situation?
